NEW and Super COOL for this fall season… the Chips Maker by Mastrad!
Who doesn’t love chips? Crunchy and satisfying…but not particularly healthy. Now you can make your own fat-free chips in only 3-5 minutes in the microwave with the Mastrad Chips Maker! The 100% Silicone surface means you don’t need to add any oil to keep them from sticking. Just slice the potato and lay on the tray, sprinkle with salt or seasonings if desired, and then microwave on high for three to five minutes. You’ll not only make delicious potato chips, you can use other root vegetables such as carrots, beets and parsnips… or try fruits like apple, pears or mangoes!
You can either buy this set with one tray and a mini-mandolin for perfect slicing, or you can get a set with two trays and no mandolin. Each is priced at just $19.99, and available NOW at Faraday’s.
The Mastrad Chips Maker will also be demonstrated at our FoodiePalooza Kitchen Gadget Expo (click on the Kitchen Gadget Expo badge on our home page) on September 24th!

This is a neat tool. I need more trays, however. The potato chips were great. I found that salt would not stick after they were cooked so for the second batch, I added sea salt and pepper before I cooked them. Much better. The pears were more challenging, but they are yummy. I put them on the side of bowl and when the cooled, they were good. I also added a bit of cinnamon to the pears and that was also good. Let me know when the additional trays come in. You can’t put too many on a tray so having more than one and stacking them would be great!
Glad to hear it worked… adding cinnamon to the pear chips sounds awesome! Once the other sets come in, if you get one of those to add to your current set, you’ll have 3 trays to stack which should produce a good amount of chips. Thanks for the review!
