The comfortable ergonomic Handle is individually handcrafted from an ancient bog oak for unparalleled durability. BOG OAK IS THE RAREST WOOD IN THE WORLD. Over thousands of years, bog oak gradually darkens, slowly turning from a light, golden brown wood into a lustrous, almost ebony-black color. Bog oak is a catch all name for partially fossilized wood.

It is recommended that you hand-wash your knives with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry the knives immediately after washing. We do NOT recommend using any knife but a German meat cleaver to cut through bones or frozen products, as other blades can easily be damaged. To best maintain the edge on your knife, you should follow a regular honing practice or maintain your blade with a recommended sharpener. Cutting on hard surfaces such as glass, stone or granite will damage blades. ALWAYS use caution when handling any knife.
