"Where's the Beef?" with Executive Chef Mike Garaghty of Wusthof. Join Wüsthof Executive Chef Mike Garaghty as he demonstrates and explains the breakdown of a 16# whole top sirloin of beef. Chef Mike will first separate the cap which will be used for the sought after Picanha cut used in South American cuisine and famous in Brazilian restaurants. Then beautiful filets of sirloin paired with Chimichurri and last but not least Spicy Bull Bites with Bleu Cheese dipping sauce. To round out all that beef we’ll slice and dice a fresh summer salad with a special dessert - Dark Rum Pineapple Upside Down Cake cooked in cast iron on The Big Green Egg! The chef will build your skills and confidence in the kitchen as he takes you on a skills journey covering all things knife related. You will better understand mincing, chopping slicing and dicing as well as choosing the right knife for the job at hand.
