Linguine & Fettuccine Pasta

Linguini pasta, originating from Campania, Italy, has a wide, flat and thin body, like a flattened thick spaghetti.

This type of pasta is very popular and goes with seafood, pesto, or any other lighter fare, or can be paired with a variety of sauces such as Alfredo. In the case of a pasta that has been flavored with vegetables or herbs, sometimes just a dash of olive oil and a grating of parmesan cheese is the perfect topping for a quick side dish.

Cook this pasta in rapidly boiling water (salted is better) for 8-10 minutes. Drain, then toss with olive oil or butter. For a gourmet meal, add some roasted veggies, and your choice of protein.
