Cutting Boards & Oil

A good cutting board will be gentle on your knives, yet durable enough to last you for years; it will be large enough for whatever you need to cut without being so large it's difficult to store; and it will be easy to clean and maintain.  We never recommend using a glass or marble board for cutting as they will quickly dull your knives, but Wood, Bamboo, Composite, or Plastic are all good choices.  If you go with a Wood or Bamboo cutting board, don't forget the mineral oil to treat and protect it!
