Oils

Different Food Oils have different uses!

Avocado oil has a very high smoke point (520°) and a mild, creamy flavor, and is good for baking, stir-frying, deep-frying, searing, barbecuing, roasting, and sautéing. Toasted Sesame Oil has a lower smoke point (380°) than its counterpart, Light Sesame Oil, and is best used as a finishing oil to add a delicious toasty, nutty flavor to dishes. You can also use it for stir-frying. Olive Oil has a low smoke point, and is best if used as a dressing or a finishing oil rather than as a cooking oil. Using Olive Oil as a cooking oil can result in a sticky residue being left in your pan if the smoke point (320°) is exceeded, meaning your nonstick pans will no longer be nonstick.
