
Faraday’s Kitchen Store Cooking School hosts both demonstration-style and hands-on Cooking Classes throughout the year supporting the Bee Cave, Lake Travis and Austin areas of Texas. Working in a modern, professional kitchen, you’ll be inspired by our talented, creative chefs who will demonstrate techniques and give you the skills needed to prepare simple, delicious meals at home. A light meal is provided with each class.

Classes range from 12 to 16 students per class, and each space is sold in advance on a first come, first serve basis. If classes are full, we will be happy to add you to our waiting list. Most Classes are two hours in length, unless otherwise detailed within the class description.

"Noodling Around" Cooking Class with Chef Uyen Pham! A good bowls of noodles is like a comfort-food hug. There are countless different types of noodles and noodle dishes found in cuisines across the world. This class will focus on four wonderful Asian noodle dishes, each made with a different type of noodle. Your menu includes: Sesame Soba Noodle Salad; Stir-Fried Sweet Potato Noodles; Glass Noodle Chicken Soup; and Beef with Flat Wide Rice Noodles. (Have we mentioned that this class is about noodles?) Gulf Coast Seafood 2 with Chef Jerry Pizzitola! Join us for a Seafood Feast, where Chef Jerry will help you master the flavors of the Gulf Coast with a mouthwatering menu! Dueling Grills, Beef Edition $25 Cooking Workshops! with Chef Jerry Pizzitola. What really tastes better, food grilled on a Gas Grill or a Charcoal Grill? You'll find out, in our second Dueling Grills workshop! Chef Jerry Pizzitola will teach you to make two delicious grilled beef dishes- Grilled Beef Skirt Steak, and The Perfect Hamburger, as well as a side dish. One dish will be cooked on the Napoleon gas grill, one on our Big Green Egg, then you'll be able to decide for yourself which grill really produces the best, beefiest flavor. SIMPLIFY 5-Week Hands-On Cooking Class Series with Chef Heidi! Would you like to improve your skills in the kitchen? Then this 5-part Spring Cooking Series with Chef Heidi Wittenborn is for you - whether you're a total beginner, or just looking to brush up on your skills and expand your culinary knowledge. In five relaxed, fun-filled HANDS-ON classes, you'll learn to prepare healthful, delicious food, while learning about basic cooking equipment, how to set up your pantry, menu planning, knife skills, and how to Steam, Saute, Roast, Slice, Dice and Chop... and a LOT more! No matter your current level of experience, you'll become a more capable, confident cook.
Week 1– Knife Skills, Pantry Stocking, Kitchen Equipment.
Week 2– Advanced Knife Skills, Stocks, and Flavor Bases such as Mirepoix, Holy Trinity, Sofritos, Curry Pastes, Harissa.

Brisket Class with KG BBQ's Chef Kareem El-Ghayesh: How to make World-Class Texas Brisket on your Smoker. He's back! Chef Kareem El Ghayesh, 2023 James Beard Award semifinalist, Competitor on Netflix show Barbeque Showdown, Owner-Chef of KG BBQ, and all-around great guy, will teach you how to choose the right brisket at the store, how to prep, rub, cook, rest, and slice the perfect brisket. Menu includes: Prime Central Texas Style Brisket, Homemade Pickled Vegetables, and Egyptian-style Mac & Cheese. The techniques you'll learn can be applied to any type of smoker. Elevated Meat & Potatoes: Hands-On Cooking Class with Chef Jenna Rasmussen. Take “meat and potatoes” to the next level! Faraday’s Class Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens, and emergencies do occur. However, we also hope you understand our commitment to all of our students and the preparation that goes into creating a successful class. For this reason, we ask that if you are unable to attend a class, you must notify us at least 72 hours in advance of the scheduled class time to receive a refund or credit towards another class. If it is less than 72 hours before a class, all cancellations are non-refundable (even if someone else gave this class to you as a gift). If you cannot attend a scheduled class, we encourage you to send someone in your place. In this case, please call ahead and notify us of the participant change. Reservations for groups of 5 or more require 7-day notice of cancellation for a refund.
