
Faraday’s Kitchen Store Cooking School hosts both demonstration-style and hands-on Cooking Classes throughout the year supporting the Bee Cave, Lake Travis and Austin areas of Texas. Working in a modern, professional kitchen, you’ll be inspired by our talented, creative chefs who will demonstrate techniques and give you the skills needed to prepare simple, delicious meals at home. A light meal is provided with each class.

Classes range from 12 to 16 students per class, and each space is sold in advance on a first come, first serve basis. If classes are full, we will be happy to add you to our waiting list. Most Classes are two hours in length, unless otherwise detailed within the class description.

Saturday, April 26th, 5-8 pm.
Homemade Pasta with Chef Jenna Rasmussen! Learn how easy it is to make Homemade Pasta- so much better than store-bought! You'll work in the kitchen with Chef Jenna Rasmussen to make your own pasta, then combine it with fresh spring time pesto, delicate roasted chicken, and fried capers. White chocolate raspberry cheesecake shooters satisfy our sweet tooth for this menu. When the cooking is done, you'll enjoy a family-style meal. The cost for this hands-on class is $69 per person.
Sunday April 27th, 1-3 pm.
Thai II Cooking Class with Chef Uyen Pham. It's time to expand your Thai food cooking repertoire! In this class, Chef Pham will teach you to make three more delicious Thai specialties: Laab Gai (Thai lettuce wraps); Pad Kee Mao “Drunken Noodles”; and a Green Chicken Curry. It's a great follow-up to our Thai I class, but it's also a perfect intro to Thai food! The cost for this demonstration class is $59 per person.
Wednesday, May 7th, 6-9 pm.
Elevated Meat & Potatoes: Hands-On Cooking Class with Chef Jenna Rasmussen. Take “meat and potatoes” to the next level! You'll work in the kitchen with Chef Jenna as you learn to cook perfect NY strip steaks with vibrant chimichurri and buttery fondant potatoes. Then, end on a sweet note with a silky ricotta tart, stone fruit, and whipped honey. A deliciously refined twist on the classics—come hungry and ready to cook! The cost for this hands-on class is $79 per person.

Make Take-Out Chinese at Home! Class with Chef Uyen Pham. Why go out when you can make it yourself? Enjoy a Chinese Feast as you learn to prepare this fun meal! Chef Pham will give you all her tips and tricks to cook these delicious dishes. The menu includes: Red Chili Wontons with Shrimp; Wok-Fired Lo Mein Noodles; and Char Siu Pork with Steamed Jasmine Rice. The cost for this demonstration class is $59 per person.

Enjoy a delicious meal featuring some classic dishes as our chef prepares crispy Lumpia with sweet chili garlic sauce, savory Pancit Bihon (Stir-fried Rice Noodles), and chewy coconut Bibingka (Mochi Cake). The cost for this demonstration class is $59 per person.
Faraday’s Class Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens, and emergencies do occur. However, we also hope you understand our commitment to all of our students and the preparation that goes into creating a successful class. For this reason, we ask that if you are unable to attend a class, you must notify us at least 72 hours in advance of the scheduled class time to receive a refund or credit towards another class. If it is less than 72 hours before a class, all cancellations are non-refundable (even if someone else gave this class to you as a gift). If you cannot attend a scheduled class, we encourage you to send someone in your place. In this case, please call ahead and notify us of the participant change. Reservations for groups of 5 or more require 7-day notice of cancellation for a refund.
Faraday’s Kitchen Store reserves the right to cancel classes. In that event, we will notify you and provide a full refund or credit. All classes are held in our store at 12918 Shops Parkway, Suite 540, Bee Cave, TX 78738.
