Saute Pans

There is often confusion about the difference between Sauté Pans and Fry Pans. A sauté pan has straight sides and a lid. Because of the straight sides, it has a larger surface area, which makes it ideal for cooking several pieces of meat at once without crowding. It also has a larger capacity than a Fry Pan, which means you can add liquid to your dish without fear of sloshing over the sides.
