Dutch Ovens & Braisers

There are many variations of Dutch Ovens out there, made of many different materials. A Dutch Oven is generally a larger pot with short handles, which is wider than it is tall. They are great for braising, or for soups or stews that you're going to let simmer for a long time. Create beautifully, homemade braised meats, pot roasts, hearty beef stew, healing chicken soup, sourdough breads, or the creamiest mac and cheese.

A Braiser is shallower than a Dutch Oven, allowing for less liquid, so is best used for braising meats. Less liquid means the flavors are more intense.
