The Messermeister Oliva Elite 6-inch Reverse Scalloped Utility Knife is a straight blade with a reverse scalloped edge. The reverse wavy scallops are rounded just enough to gain traction on slippery and smooth surfaces. They are also gentle enough to slice through coarsely textured food without shredding it. Each knife handle in the Oliva Elité knife line is unique and made from beautiful, Italian olive wood. No two handles are the identical, making these knives truly boutique and one-of-a-kind.

It is recommended that you hand-wash your knives with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry the knives immediately after washing. We do NOT recommend using any knife but a German meat cleaver to cut through bones or frozen products, as other blades can easily be damaged. To best maintain the edge on your knife, you should follow a regular honing practice or maintain your blade with a recommended sharpener. Cutting on hard surfaces such as glass, stone or granite will damage blades. ALWAYS use caution when handling any knife.
