The Wusthof Classic 4.5-inch Asian Utility Knife features a uniquely curved straight edge blade, which allows it to be used as a mini cook’s knife as well as a paring knife. The new knife is perfectly designed for both low rock cuts that require moderate heft and precise balance, and closer hand work that demands a razor sharp edge and exceptional agility. The ideal size and shape for countless food prep tasks, the CLASSIC 4.5-inch Asian Utility Knife performs effortlessly when cutting, slicing or dicing a variety of ingredients, including small- and medium-sized fruits, vegetables and cheeses, and can even be used to trim meats and poultry.
Faraday’s carries the top selling Wüsthof “Classic” knife series. The Classic lines deliver great quality and offer a lifetime of true culinary performance. Manufactured in Solingen, Germany by a seventh-generation family business since 1814, each knife is forged from one piece of specially tempered high carbon steel to ensure outstanding strength and extraordinary sharpness. The triple-riveted handles are made of synthetic material and have no seams, offering better hygiene. These knives are excellent for both professional chefs and home cooking enthusiasts and are easy to maintain. Great knives for our meat-eating friends here in Texas!
It is recommended that you hand-wash your knives with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry the knives immediately after washing. We do NOT recommend using any knife but a German meat cleaver to cut through bones or frozen products, as other blades can easily be damaged. To best maintain the edge on your knife, you should follow a regular honing practice or maintain your blade with a recommended sharpener. Cutting on hard surfaces such as glass, stone or granite will damage blades. ALWAYS use caution when handling any knife.
