In 2006, Smokeware owners quickly realized that weather in there hometown of Florida could be an issue when it came to Ceramic Grills with cast-iron tops. After getting rained on during several cooks, the owners began to look for a way to eliminate weather issues when grilling. Eventually, the prototype for Smokeware Stainless Steel Vented Chimney Caps came about!
