Stonewall Kitchen founders Jonathan King and Jim Stott originally started their business as a homemade products stall at their local farmers market. Working from a small folding table, the stall was successful, selling out of products every week. After selling at multiple venues, the operation branched out into selling wholesale. In 1993, Crate and Barrel approached them for 2500 Jars of their Orange Cranberry Marmalade. Although the order was filled, it took amonth to do so, encouraging the partners to move into a larger manufacturing property in York, Maine. Today this factory has grown to include a visitor center and a testing kitchen where multitudes of products are made today! Originally known for their jams, the product line has grown to include grille sauces, mustards, chutneys, pancake mixes and more! Dive on in and discover the deliciousness that is Stonewall Kitchen!
